Fireguard®13 is a calcium silicate board specifically developed for internal passive fire protection.
It has been tested in accordance with the applicable EN fire resistance standards and classified under Euroclass A1 (EN 13501-1) for reaction to fire.

Certified fields of application include:

• Structural steel protection (EN 13381-4, EN 13381-8)
• Reinforced concrete structures (EN 13381-3)
• Partitions and compartment walls (EN 1364-1, EN 1365-1)
• Loadbearing and non-loadbearing wall systems (EN 1365-1, EN 1365-2)
• Ceilings (EN 1364-2, EN 1365-2)
• Floors and horizontal compartmentation (EN 1365-2, EN 1365-3)

The product maintains:

• High mechanical resistance under load conditions (EN 822, EN 823, EN 310)
• Excellent dimensional stability and resistance to moisture (EN 12467, EN 15283-1)
• Long-term performance consistency without degradation

Application:

FIREGUARD® 13 boards are installed using mechanical fasteners (screws or expansion anchors). Compliance with the relevant system certification is mandatory.

• In wall upgrading systems, boards are certified without joint treatment.
• If joint finishing is required for aesthetic reasons, fasteners must be placed at 250 mm centres along board edges and in the centreline.
• Joint finishing must be carried out using FIREGUARD COMPOUND gypsum-based plaster, applied with mesh tape or fiberglass joint tape.
