Terms & Conditions

1. Introduction & Definitions

Company: Global Building UK Ltd, registered in the UK, trading from Morecambe. Contact: Unit 9, Southgate, White Lund Industrial Estate, Morecambe, LA3 3PB. Telephone: 01524 956093. Email: orders@globalbuildingukltd.com.

Buyer or Customer: Any person, firm, or company ordering products via the website.

Products: External renders, EWI systems, boards, and render beads as listed on the website.

Contract: The agreement between the Company and the Buyer formed upon dispatch of products.

 

2. How the Contract Is Formed

By placing an order through the site, the Buyer offers to purchase Products. This order is an offer. The Company accepts only when a Dispatch Confirmation email is sent. At that point a binding contract is formed.

 

3. Pricing & Payment

  • Prices are as shown on the website at the time of order and include VAT unless stated otherwise. Delivery charges are extra.
  • If there is a pricing error, the Company will advise the Buyer who may reconfirm or cancel the order.
  • Payment must be made in full before dispatch using the available payment methods.

 

4. Delivery & Risk

  • Delivery will be made to the address provided on the order.
  • Estimated delivery times will be provided but are not guaranteed.
  • Risk in the goods passes to the Buyer upon delivery. Ownership transfers once full payment is received.

 

5. Right to Cancel for Consumers

  • For consumer purchases, the Buyer has a 14 day right to cancel starting from the day after delivery under the Consumer Contracts regulations.
  • To cancel, the Buyer must inform the Company in writing and return Products unused and in original packaging at their own cost unless the goods are broken or damaged.
  • Refunds, including standard delivery charges, will be issued within 30 days of cancellation.

 

6. Faulty Goods & Returns

  • If products are faulty or incorrect, the Buyer must notify the Company within 7 days of delivery.
  • Return the items within 28 days for a replacement or full refund. Images of the damage are required.

 

7. Limitations & Liability

  • The Company’s liability for direct losses is limited to the purchase price of the goods.
  • Indirect or consequential losses are not recoverable, except in cases of personal injury or death due to negligence.
  • Manufacturer warranties may apply. The Company will seek to pass these on but does not itself provide them.

 

8. Disruptions

The Company is not liable for delays or failures in performance caused by events beyond its control, including extreme weather, supplier issues, or transport disruptions.

 

9. Intellectual Property

All website content, including images and technical data, is the property of Global Building UK Ltd or its suppliers and is protected by copyright.

 

10. Variation and Amendments

The Company may update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes apply to orders made after the update.

 

11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions are governed by English law. Any disputes are subject to the nonexclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
